Congratulations to the following on having been selected to receive one of the Stark County Farm Bureau Scholarships for the 2015-2016 school year.
Laura Schmucki is a junior at The Ohio State University where she is studying Animal Biosciences with a Pre-Veterinary Specialization. She is a member of Collegiate Cattlewomen’s Club, East Central Ohio Forestry Association, Stark County Cattlemen’s Association, Ohio Cattlewomen’s Association, and National Cattlemen’s Beef Association. She is also currently the 2015 Ohio Beef Ambassador and is involved with many volunteer events. Laura plans to continue her education to become a veterinarian in Food Supply Medicine.
Scott Schmucki recently graduated from Fairless High School where he was part of the National Honors Society, Football, and Falcon Media. This fall he will be attending Youngstown State University where he will major in Combined Sciences and later will be attending NEOMED to get a doctorates degree in medicine.
Camille Klick recently graduated from Perry High School and will be attending Ohio State University ATI this fall. After obtaining an Associate Degree in Agricultural Business, she plans to continue her education at the Columbus campus to obtain a Bachelors Degree. Camille is the Vice President of the Stark County Junior Fair Board for the second year in a row and plans to continue her career in the agriculture field.
Joseph Rosario Pusateri recently graduated from St. Thomas Aquinas High School and will be attending The Ohio State University in the fall where he will major in Ag Systems Management. He hopes to use his degree to build up his family’s farm into a profitable operation and also to get a great rewarding career in agriculture.
